What we collect, and why

When you order: your name, email address, phone number, billing and delivery addresses, any delivery notes, and what you bought. We use them to deliver your order, contact you about it, handle any claim, and keep the records a business must keep. Payment is taken by Stripe on Stripe’s own secure pages; we never see or store your card number.

When you use a form: the contact, trade and returns forms send us what you type, so we can answer.

Your basket is kept in your own browser until you check out. It is not sent to us before then.

Cookies and advertising tags

We use the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) and Google tags (Google Analytics and Google Ads) to understand how the website is used and to measure and improve our advertising. These tools set cookies and receive information such as the pages and products you view, what you add to your basket, your browser type and your IP address.

When you place an order, we also tell Meta and Google about the purchase — the order value and the pieces bought — together with your email address, phone number, name and address so they can match the sale to an ad. Those contact details are scrambled with a one-way code (hashed) before they leave your browser or our server; your IP address and browser details are sent as they are. Meta and Google handle this information under their own policies: Meta Privacy Policy and Google Privacy Policy.

Your choices

Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we do not load the Meta Pixel or Google tags, and we do not send your purchase to Meta.

Opt out of personalised ads: Meta ad preferences, Google My Ad Center, and the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Some US state laws treat advertising cookies as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell your information for money; to opt out of advertising use, turn on Global Privacy Control, use the links above, or email us.

Who else sees your information

Only the services that run the shop: Stripe (payments), our web and email host, the parcel and freight carriers that deliver your order (name, delivery address and phone number), and Meta and Google as described above.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as we need them for your order, any insurance or damage claim, and our tax and accounting obligations.

Seeing, correcting or deleting your information

Email info@urhomedecor1.com and we will send you a copy of what we hold, correct it, or delete what we are not required to keep.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
